Community Resources

Bringing the Community Together

The City of Jackson is working with a recently formed group to help the community through the impacts of this pandemic. Jackson COVID-19 Action Network (JCAN) is a group of local health, human services, education and government entities, private businesses and philanthropic organizations who have come together to support community members during this time of need. They want to ensure that all Jackson residents have food, shelter, information and other basic needs during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.

Finding Resources

The best first step to finding community resources is dialing the 211 help line, and operators will help you find the services you need.

How You Can Help

JCAN’s first step is getting financial support to help the community. Other updates will be provided on this page when they’re available.

If you’d like to volunteer to help with relief efforts, call the 211 help line, or visit the United Way of Jackson County’s website
